Have a spring fling with Mother Nature! This is a time of year to focus on (1) spring cleaning (helping others get real, Get Clean, and ditch the toxic products in their lives)…(2) for detoxing the mind, body, and spirit…and (3) pitching in to help improve the health of the planet. So on this 1st day of spring, why not start making plans for #1 through 3?
You can come get doggone dirty with us for the Oregon Humane Society Dog Walking Path Revival on April 20th in Portland as part of SOLVE IT, an annual statewide event.
And on April 22nd, we will be celebrating at the Bolsa Chica Conservancy’s Earth Day Festival in Huntington Beach. This free event will include guided tours of the reserve, migratory bird counts, a jump tent, habitat restoration, birds of prey, reptiles, and much more!
And don’t forget about Earth Hour this weekend, when the world recognizes the need for global action. Turn off your lights from 8:30-9:30pm this Saturday and show that you are lightening your energy load for the environment!
