How are you celebrating Earth Day this year?
Earth Day began on April 22, 1970 and over 20 million people across the U.S. participated. At Shaklee, we believe in promoting a healthy environment, creating awareness of the issues, and educating others to not only take care of our planet but individual home environments too. In fact, before the inception of Earth Day, Shaklee was a company founded on Living in Harmony and with Nature®. In the 1960s Shaklee introduced Basic-H® Concentrated Organic Cleaner, one of the first nontoxic biodegradable cleaners. We also lead in environmental achievements, embracing climate change initiatives, and eco-alliances with 2004 Nobel Peace Prize laureate Dr. Wangari Maathai and others.
Earth Day should be every day, but let’s each take this one day to inspire and encourage others to take care of our planet and our homes for a healthier and brighter future.
