How did you end up doing what you do? Do you remember? Do you love what you do?

Maybe you followed your heart when you found your current career. Maybe you didn’t. Maybe it’s okay to change your mind.

When our family became a part of the Shaklee family, and part of a larger movement to help people become healthier and wealthier with the best natural products that science could harness, there were some conscious choices and there were some instinctive ones and there were some risky ones and there were some inexplicable ones based on how it felt. And for 5 decades, there have been ups and downs, even heartache and disappointments, and many triumphs and successes too.

But always, always, always, we have felt compelled to continue. In our hearts, we believe in what we are doing. It has been an adventure, it has held many lessons, it has made a difference in people’s lives. And as we celebrate so many things heart-related this month (romance, Valentine’s Day, cardiovascular health), we can’t help but reflect on one very simple truth about our own hearts:

We love what we do.
