Our 50th Golden Anniversary, An Evening of Stars!

Cheers to us! Last night we hosted our 50th Golden Anniversary in Shaklee at the Long Beach Convention & Entertainment Center with over 150 guests. Family members, friends, and our Shaklee colleagues (including Shaklee’s President of North America above) joined us for an unforgettable “Evening of Stars”. They entered on a red carpet flanked by our banner (with cake to match!) and our “Shaklee Star” statue. All of the business leaders in our Ewing Organization that have come on board our team of distributors over 5 decades really are the stars in our lives and business year after year. So we wanted to treat them to a fun night!

We had a photo op booth with props so they could become stars in pictures that will last a lifetime, a caricaturist who was drawing them to look like the stars they are, a star-studded performance by a Liza Minelli/Judy Garland impersonator, and a star celebrity of television & film signed autographs and took photos with everyone. We were so fortunate to have our friend, Jim O’Heir from the NBC hit comedy, “Parks & Recreation”, join us. For every autograph, RLEI is donating to the disaster-relief charity, Shaklee Cares. That’s $150!

There were stars all over the place, even on the ceiling, delicious desserts, and so much laughter and love. But one of the highlights of the evening was when Jim led a champagne toast to our own Bob Ewing – dad, grandfather, and Shaklee pioneer. He said a few words himself and all the wonderful wishes as he soon turns 90 and all the hugs meant the world to him!

We will be sharing more photos from the event on our Flickr page soon and check our YouTube channel shortly for our video slideshow we also shared last night. 5 decades of memories!

(All on the same day that Shaklee released 4 BRAND NEW blockbuster products during Shaklee Live! We will have more info about those next week, but very exciting as well!)
