BETTY WOODHOUSE: Senior Coordinator in Houston, Texas

“Over 40 years ago I was looking for good quality supplements for my family. I was fortunate to meet a Shaklee Distributor and signed up, but was adamant about not wanting to do the business and just wanted to get the products at the best price. 12 years ago I decided to give the business side a try. My only regret is not starting sooner.

Our 3 children were raised on Shaklee and very rarely missed a day of school. Their teachers would often ask what they were eating because they were so healthy. We spent most of the late 70’s and 80’s living overseas and on trips back to the U.S. we would visit Sarah West, to stock up on Vita-Lea, Alfalfa Complex, Vita-C and Zinc Complex. When a friend went on leave we would contact Sarah and she would ship products to them to bring back to us.

Thanks to my faithful Shaklee customers and awesome team I’ve received a check from Shaklee every month for 12 years and have been on some wonderful Shaklee trips. In 2014, my organization was 4th for growth in the field due in large part to the hard work of Jane Chen, who had phenomenal growth and was the first to introduce Shaklee to the Houston Chinese community.

My favorite tool is the HealthPrint. Just last week another member who hadn’t placed an order in over a year, completed the HealthPrint assessment and ordered the suggested products.

I’ll be 70 years old this month and like many long time Shaklee users, I have no medical problems and need no medications. I have no intentions of retiring and am excited about the future and have plans to continue to grow my Shaklee business and help others reach their goals.”

Betty is a stellar example of consistency. She attends regular business networking meetings, represents at community events, keeps an active social media presence, and advocates for those in her organization. She is a leader who keeps at it and has been rewarded for it.

She is also treasured within her branch of our Ewing Organization Shaklee tree. Consider the long history of her Shaklee lineage…
