WENDY STEADMAN: Director in Richmond, British Columbia

“I am actually a 2nd generation Shaklee user as my parents were introduced in 1977 just after Shaklee came to Canada.

My mom had a debilitating illness and poor health. She spent a lot of time in and out of the office when I was growing up. I was 14 at the time and remember how using the products changed her health for the better. The products did not cure her, however she had so many better years as a result of taking the products. We converted our home and all used the products.

Fast forward a number of years – I left home, started a family and used Shaklee on and off. About 4 years ago, I ended up with extreme back pain due to a bulging disk in my lower back. There was a lot of fluid around my spinal cord. I was put on a lot of medication and was seeing a number of specialists due the severity of the pain. I could not sit at all – I had to be flat on my back or standing upright, which made it difficult to get to work. After about 6 weeks of not getting any results other than the medication causing me stomach issues, I decided to call my upline, Lois Kendel, and get back on Shaklee. I stopped the medication and started on a lot of protein and vitamins and kept increasing until my pain was manageable. After a few weeks, I went for X-rays and the fluid on the spine was decreasing and the disk was looking better.

The results I received have made me committed to better health and as a result, I have started sharing the products and the business. I became a Director a year ago and am really enjoying helping people achieve better health or converting their homes to safe products. I have a couple of people now interested in the business, so we are working together to build some momentum through “smoothie workshops” and skin care demos.

I am so grateful to the Shaklee company and all of the people that have committed to the growth over the years as it has made such a difference for me and my family. I love the community of people that this business offers and love that I can work with such positive people…”
