CHRIS, BECKY, & MIKAELA CASH: MASTER COORDINATORS and DISTRIBUTOR in Zionsville, Indiana

From an interview with Mikaela during Mitochondrial Disease Awareness Week (September 16th-September 22nd)…

“Our family joined Shaklee in the fall of 2002. My mom joined as a Member in order to help get my sister healthy. She had gotten sick as a baby and a friend of hers recommended that they try Shaklee supplements. When my sister started to heal and my mom felt better than she had in years, she decided to share the products so that she could get a check to help pay for the products. As she says, it just took on a life of its own. First she got a ‘rebate’ check and then she got enough to pay for our own products. Before she knew it people were asking about the business and today my parents are Master Coordinators.

There are a lot of Shaklee products that have had a huge impact on my life. The biggest one at this moment, though, is definitely the Life Shakes. Recently I have been diagnosed with a severe stomach condition called Gastroparesis that prevents me from eating, and the Life Shakes are the only thing that I have been able to eat. I have literally been living solely off of these Shakes for 3 months. It certainly gives a whole new meaning to the word “life” in Life Shakes.

Outside of Shaklee…my favorite hobby is sewing. I sew all sorts of things, but my favorite things to sew are costumes. Anything from Star Wars characters to princesses, give me a pattern and some fabric and I can do it!

My biggest dream for the future is to become a Child Life Specialist. These are people who work with children who are in difficult situations, often times in hospitals, to help them cope with what is going on in their lives. When I was a child struggling with chronic illness, they were the ones who were there for me to make things a little bit easier. I want to do the same for other kids. Shaklee fits into this picture because it’s Shaklee products that are going to keep me healthy enough to get through college and later to keep a job. I genuinely believe that there would be no chance of me doing either of these things without Shaklee products to keep me going.”

As her mom believes, Mikaela has been wanting to build her Shaklee business because having a neuromuscular disease and not being able to go out into the world has prevented her from getting any other kind of job. The Shaklee Opportunity gives her a sense of belonging and productivity. She also is a self-described Lyme disease and Mitochondrial disease warrior. And after getting a sense of her fighting spirit, we know she will go far both in Shaklee and in life in helping others!

Consider the long history of their Shaklee lineage…
