EDWARD & JOAN KAMINSKI: SENIOR DIRECTORS in Mountain Top, Pennsylvania

 

“Joan is a 2^nd generation Shaklee business leader.  Her mom, Juana Gyza, a native of the Philippines, began the family’s Shaklee business over 40 years ago after arriving in the United States from Japan where Joan’s dad, Florian, was serving in the United States Air Force.  With Joan in their arms, they began searching for a better, healthier lifestyle, which they found through Shaklee in the 1980s.

Carrying on her mom’s love for Shaklee nutrition, Joan earned the rank of Director in 2013 with the launch of Shaklee 180!  Joan and her husband, Ed, are currently Senior Directors and the parents of 3 sons…Lenny, Gabriel and Michael. Joan was adamant about following her Shaklee nutrition throughout all of her pregnancies and continuing all through their childhood. These Shaklee kids continue their Shaklee nutrition as they are now 26, 25 and 20. Their oldest son, Lenny, is 3^rd generation Shaklee business builder along with his wife, Amanda.

Joan and Ed have a passion for helping others, sharing their love of good health through Shaklee and Zumba.  While they are at the gym doing Zumba instructing, they are continuously told how happy, healthy and youthful they look and their Zumba students ask where these 2 get all their energy. In unison, they both respond…’By using SHAKLEE!’

Joan continues with her career in the County Human Services Division of the past 31 years, but her passion for Zumba began 11 years ago as she searched for a fitness class where she could do what she loves-dance and have fun!  She has been a licensed Zumba instructor for the past 7 years and is fueled by Shaklee’s healthy Sports Nutrition products herself. She is also a licensed Zumba Kids and Kids Jr. Instructor as well as Zumba Gold Instructor.  She is a Certified Group Exercise Instructor with the Aerobics and Fitness Association of America/National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM).  She holds a certificate in Plant-Based Nutrition through the T. Collin Campbell Center for Nutrition Studies at Cornell University.

Ed has a passion for a healthy lifestyle.  Working in healthcare as his professional career, he has always supported good nutrition, exercise programs and fueling the body with proper supplements. As a dad of 3 boys, it is important for him to “keep up,” so he credits Shaklee products and his active lifestyle for that! Zumba is a major part of his physical activity. He became a licensed Zumba Instructor after attending many classes that his wife taught, where he saw everyone having a blast!   Ed has been a Zumba instructor for over a year. Both teach at Odyssey Fitness in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania, where their Zumba students and colleagues continue to enjoy the healthy benefits of Shaklee products.

Following the invitation by the Shaklee Home Office for Joan to demonstrate YOUTH at the LYL: Look Younger Longer-Live Younger Longer-Love Your Life event in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, it energized them to share, share, share Shaklee’s healthy skin care. YOUTH, along with Shaklee’s Sports Nutrition line, has enabled them to recruit multiple new Members and Distributors. Joan and Ed love talking about their Shaklee experience to their Zumba students, friends and professional colleagues.   Joan and Ed may be familiar faces on the Zumba dance floor in Las Vegas as they were the Zumba Instructors at our Shaklee Global Conference the past 2 years.  The contagious energy, smiles and positive spirit that the Shaklee family brought to the Zumba dance floor in Las Vegas was electric!!

2 years ago, Ed lost his full time employment as a Regional Director of Strategic Initiatives and Development in Healthcare Administration.  He used this life changing event as an opportunity to grow their part-time Shaklee business.  He focused on follow up and new business development which more than doubled their growth in Shaklee.

They have formed a core team of business builders and have utilized their team’s various skill sets, including social media talents, to continually grow their business.  Through tireless coaching and mentoring of their team, as well as the launch of the Prove It Challenge in 2019, their business catapulted to the next level where they broke out a new Director who is moving at lightning speed.

Joan and Ed were extremely excited to recently learn that they qualified for the Dream Trip to Costa Rica this May where they will celebrate their success, along with the achievements of fellow Shaklee family members in true Shaklee style!  They are ecstatic about their strong finish in 2019 as they leap into the start of healthy and happy 2020!”

We just know Joan and Ed are going to dance their way through their beautiful tropical vacation that they deserve! Watch out for this superstar couple, they might just inspire you to start Zumba too!
